Ocean Alliance KickStarter Campaign

We’re pleased to endorse our partner Ocean Alliance’s recently launched KickStarter Campaign – Snotbot: Pushing the Frontiers of Whale Research With Drones. This campaign will employ custom-built drones to gather biologic material (i.e., whale spray or snot) from whales in 3 major locations around the world. The entire process is non-invasive, enabling researchers to determine the health of individual whales and pods, familial relationships, and more generally, the state of the ocean habitats in which the whales reside.
